Dusit Thani Manila culinary team has proven again their kitchen prowess and has shown beyond doubt they have what it takes to cook with the best as they bagged the Highest Silver award and two Bronze awards at the prestigious Philippine Culinary Cup (PCC) 2017.
Considered as the most prestigious culinary competition in the country, the PCC takes on an even bigger role in providing the Filipino chefs an internationally-recognized platform to hone their skills and showcase their talents in the culinary field.
Dubbed as “where the best meet to compete” and the only continental competition endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS), Dusit Thani Manila’s expertise and best performance continues to shine in the annual competition.
After four grueling days of competition from August 2-5, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, PCC’s roster of WACS-accredited judges awarded the culinary team of Dusit Thani Manila with three medals.
Highest silver champions under Dream Team category were Chef Romalliv Lucas; Chef Jhoanna Cruz; Chef Billy Palma and Chef Kristle Co. Under Filipino cuisine, Chef Paul Samonte; Chef Mike Fastidio and Chef Delfin Borras took home the Bronze medal. Chef Allan Bocalbos also won Bronze medal under the Fantasy Dessert category.
