After the success of the Lasa Regional Food Festival in June, Dusit Thani Manila brings another culinary festival that celebrates one of the vibrant and colorful cuisines in the world— the Indonesian cuisine. Joining forces with one of the finest luxury 5 star hotels in Jakarta, Hotel Borobudur, the gastronomic adventure puts Indonesia’s vast culinary landscape at the center of Dusit Thani Manila’s all-day dining restaurant, The Pantry.

Dubbed as Lezat, which means delicious, this Indonesian Food Fest highlights the strength of the two hotels in food and beverage. Flying all the way from Hotel Borobudur is guest Indonesian Chef Hendriyono. He meticulously prepares a curated menu of homegrown dishes, so that diners can experience the culinary marvels that their country has to offer.

Famous for its abundant flavor dishes, Indonesian cuisine is injected with fresh herbs and aromatic spices that is steeped in rich culture and traditions of Indonesia. Chef Hendriyono is working with Dusit chefs to ensure that The Pantry’s sumptuous buffet will be teeming with Indonesia’s popular culinary delights. And because Hotel Borobudur is best known for its legendary oxtail soup, Sop Buntut is definitely shouldn’t be missed.

Let the culinary adventure begin with a spread of appetizers like Sate Lilit Bali, a traditional Balinese fish satay; and Mpek mpek Palembang, Sumatera fried dumpling with spicy sour dips. Savour an eclectic mix of main dishes like traditional Nasi Goreng Jawa, spicy Ayam Rica Rica, succulent Kambing Sauce Recap, Daging Rendang Padang, Bebek Goreng Madura and Sate Campur Indonesian. Concluding this feast will be some lip-smacking desserts like Pisang goring, Kolak Pisang dan Ubi and much more.

Whether you’re craving for familiar flavors or just itching to try Indonesian flavors without traveling outside Manila, you’ll want to make your way over to The Pantry. From September 23 to October 2, guests get to enjoy a spread of Indonesian food at PHP 2,100++ per person for Friday and Saturday dinner buffet and PHP 2,500++ per person during Sunday Brunch. A special a la carte menu of Indonesian specialties will be offered on regular days for lunch and dinner
